Well, it's almost midnight and a new year is upon us. We watched NY Time Square ring in 2009. I remember as a child thinking, one day, I'll be there. It looked like so much fun. And now. . . I'm so content to simply be home. As you can see from the above pictures, we had our own family toasting going on -- with sparkling cider, of course -- after taco salad for dinner and a Dutch treat called Banket for dessert. My hope for tomorrow is to finish Our Year in Pictures. It's time consuming but fun to look through all the photos taken these last 12 months.
