the reason

the hunt

the find

the reason!

tree4

through all the. . .

busyness,

gift giving,

card making,

busyness,

celebrating,

decorating,

busyness,

memory making,

baking,

and. . .

the busyness of this season,

I want to remember the REASON for it all.

The Word of God, Jesus Christ, on account of His great love

for mankind, became what we are in order to make us what

He is Himself.  Bernard of Clairvaux

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining

It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth.

Long lay the world in sin and error pining

Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

Fall on your knees, O, hear the angel voices

O night divine, O night when Christ was born. John S. Dwight

Happy Thursday!

  1. I love it!!!! It looks like the kids won with the tree size. It's more work, but it sure will be pretty.

Yes, so important to remember "the reason for the season" in the midst of it all. It's a challange, isn't it.
